Quora’s chatbot platform, Poe, just rolled out its most affordable AI subscription plan yet. Offering users access to powerful AI models for just $5 per month. Alongside the budget-friendly option, Poe also introduced its priciest tier ever at $250 per month. Targeting heavy users who need to run a high volume of AI queries daily.
The move, announced Tuesday, gives users more flexibility to choose a plan that fits their usage needs and budget. With Poe, subscribers can interact with multiple AI bots like DeepSeek-R1, GPT-4o, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, o3-mini, and ElevenLabs. All accessible within a single app. Each AI model consumes points per message, with more advanced models requiring higher point usage.
Under the new $5/month plan, subscribers get 10,000 points daily. Allowing casual users to chat with standard models without worrying about running out quickly. On the other end, the $250/month plan offers a massive 12.5 million points. Ideal for professionals or developers working with premium AI models like GPT-4.5, OpenAI’s o1-pro, and Google DeepMind’s Veo 2.
In a statement, Poe explained the strategy behind these two new plans: “Normal models are getting cheaper, while the most advanced models are getting more expensive.” The updated Poe AI subscription plans aim to strike a balance, making AI chatbots accessible for light users while supporting power users needing consistent access to high-end models.
Before this update, Poe’s cheapest paid tier was $20 per month for 1 million points. A free plan remains available, though it offers limited daily messages.
Poe’s platform continues to grow, now available on iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows, giving users access to AI-powered conversations across devices.
With this change, Poe reinforces its commitment to offering flexible AI chatbot subscriptions — whether you’re exploring casual chats or running intensive AI-driven projects.
