Frontline industries are struggling under the weight of rising labor costs, high staff turnover, and outdated technology. Many businesses still rely on clunky workforce tools that slow down operations and frustrate employees. Danish startup All Gravy is tackling these issues head-on with an AI-first approach aimed at modernizing how frontline teams work.

Today, All Gravy announced a fresh $2.9 million seed funding round, co-led by Scale Capital and Moonfire Ventures. To expand its AI-powered workforce platform into the UK. The round also attracted top-tier angel investors, including Alexander Aghassipour (Zendesk), Jeppe Rindom (Pleo), and Fredrik Hjelm (Voi). Signaling growing investor confidence in the future of intelligent frontline operations.

With the new capital, the Copenhagen-based company plans to scale across the UK. Bringing its AI-driven workforce management platform to businesses in desperate need of smarter tools. Their mission is clear: improve staff retention, streamline operations, and deliver a better employee experience—especially in high-pressure sectors like hospitality.

Already, All Gravy’s solution has gained rapid traction with major hospitality names such as Dishoom, Pizza Pilgrims, Honest Burgers, and Ottolenghi. The startup is now used in over 1,000 restaurants and shops globally. And its revenue has tripled over the past year.

For frontline workers, the contrast between consumer-grade AI tools and work systems is striking. While AI assists them in planning holidays or making dinner at home, the tools they use at work are often fragmented and outdated.

“It’s insane that in 2025 we’re still forcing employees to download seven terrible apps just to pour a pint,” said Jonatan Rasmussen, CEO and co-founder of All Gravy. “This has to change. The good news is, many of the biggest companies are now ready to prioritise this when they see the right solution.”

Founded in 2020 by Rasmussen and Kristian Lundager. All Gravy combines workforce data with AI to create intelligent workflows and real-time support for frontline teams. Its platform offers personalized AI guidance, helping staff on the ground and giving managers better insights to make smart, timely decisions.

The AI assistant learns over time, becoming more valuable with every interaction. It supports employees with shift planning, onboarding, performance feedback, and day-to-day guidance—functions that often require navigating multiple legacy systems. With All Gravy, these tasks are consolidated into one intelligent platform that evolves alongside the business.

Rasmussen emphasized how quickly things have changed: “Six months ago, the largest UK companies wouldn’t return our calls. Now they’re calling us. The service industry is at a breaking point, and we want to be the default AI-powered operating system for frontline work.”

Investors agree. Mattias Ljungman, Partner at Moonfire Ventures, sees All Gravy as a transformative force. “We back companies that don’t just improve processes—they reinvent industries. All Gravy is reshaping frontline work. Their AI-driven platform is intuitive, powerful, and already loved by customers. What they’ve built is proof that AI is redefining what’s possible in the workplace.”

Judith Schrader, Investor at Scale Capital, echoed the sentiment: “Frontline work is one of the last major sectors untouched by AI. Jonatan and his team have created something that’s already delivering impact, and we believe they’re in a prime position to define the future of this category.”

As businesses look to stay competitive amid rising costs and worker shortages, All Gravy is offering a compelling new standard—one where intelligent systems support people, not slow them down.
